poems written on the fly

showers expected

In art, d. james, literature, poem, poetry, writing on 7 March 2008 at 12:46 am

wait all day
for the rain

wind picks up
weeps heavily
with the sound
of flapping flags
and water on pavement

people run for cover
as the world
becomes glossy
